§ 03 — Feature set everything in v0.1

Five capabilities, one calm surface.

The plugin is small on purpose. Composer in the centre, tier on the left, mode on the right, send in the corner. Underneath, an opinionated engine that does five things very deliberately.

01 AGENT TIERS

Intern, Senior, Lead. Pick the craftsman, not the model.

A PM, a founder, an engineer all know what "ask the intern to sketch it" or "get the lead to finalise it" means. Nobody outside engineering wants to read a model-version string. Mistri picks the right craftsman behind each tier and keeps doing so as the field moves.

02 MULTI-SCREEN FLOWS

Up to three connected screens. One prompt, one flow.

Every slot gets its own prompt. Leave a slot on /auto and Mistri infers a coherent screen from its neighbours. Slot 1 "login" plus slot 3 "settings" infers "home" in slot 2. Output lands as a single auto-layout frame with thin connector arrows between screens.

  • Per-slot prompt buffers. Switching tabs preserves what you wrote.
  • Mixed mode. Some slots user-written, others on /auto.
  • Generated frames are grouped and named with a session timestamp.

03 TARGETED EDITS

Select a node. Edit only that.

Pick any frame, component, or group on the Figma canvas. A pill enters the composer with a thumbnail and the node name. Type the change ("make this CTA pill-shaped and louder") and only that subtree updates. The rest of your canvas stays untouched.

Two rhythms. One toggle.

Guided mode asks up to three short pill-based follow-ups before generating. Never free-text answers, always taps. Independent mode generates immediately, no questions. The plugin remembers your preference after the first five generations.

The plugin chrome carries four authored themes, not skins on a default. Paper & Ink (this site) is editorial restraint. Workshop is warm cream with brass accents. Funky Peach is playful. Midnight Studio is graphite for night sessions. Your chosen theme follows you across machines and is part of your synced profile.

§ 04 — Working method how Mistri thinks

Behind the small composer is a four-phase rhythm. Modelled on how a real design team approaches a brief, compressed into the seconds between your prompt and a connected flow on canvas.

Listen — Phase one

Reads the prompt against the active design system, the file's existing pages, and any recent generation history. If intent is ambiguous and Guided mode is on, asks up to three short pill-questions. Never free-text, never a wall of clarifications.

Sketch — Phase two

Plans the composition of the flow first. Hierarchy, primary action, secondary moves. The Intern tier ships this draft directly. Senior and Lead refine it before sending. You never see the planning step. It is why the output reads as composed, not dumped.

Build — Phase three

Lays down real Figma frames with real typography, real components, real spacing, and a semantic layer order. Multi-screen flows are built slot by slot with thin connector arrows linking them. One Cmd+Z reverts the entire generation, so trying things stays cheap.

Polish — Phase four

A final pass for type alignment, spacing rhythm, contrast, and layer naming. A small visual cue in the corner shows the work is wrapping up. The frame is named with a session timestamp, and layers are nested and labelled, not flat.

A small working companion sits in the corner of the plugin. Eight states, all hand-tuned: idle, listening, thinking, working, polishing, succeeded, questioning, errored. Subtle motion. Never cute, never in your way.

§ 07 — Trust and security audit-ready by design

What we keep, and what we don't.

Mistri runs on a small, audited backend. Generation prompts are processed transiently and are not used to train models. Payments are handled by an authorised, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway, and your card never reaches us.

Prompts processed, not stored.

Generation prompts are sent transiently to the model and are not stored against your account beyond the request itself. We keep the resulting design against your generation record so history works. That is it.

— PAYMENTS

PCI-DSS Level 1, RBI-authorised.

Card data never touches our servers. The payment gateway tokenises every instrument under the Reserve Bank of India's tokenisation framework and authenticates with 3-D Secure, OTP, or UPI PIN. We store only a network token, the last four digits, and the ledger metadata we need for invoicing.

Auth-deferred, not auth-skipped.

Trial users are identified by their Figma user id. Signed-in users authenticate via Figma OAuth or Google. Sessions are short-lived and rotated.

Delete on request, not negotiation.

Mistri is the work of Mistri AI, a two-person studio carving an opinionated AI design surface inside Figma. We have spent years inside design tools, and we wanted one that feels like it was made by a craftsman, not generated by one.

Pricing is intentionally simple, in INR, with applicable taxes built into every invoice. We do not take outside money, so the only person we answer to is the user typing into the composer.

§ 09 — Questions

The ones we get most often.

— 01 Is the trial actually free? +

Yes. 150 credits, granted once, with no sign-in and no card. That buys two screens at Senior or six at Intern. We identify you by your Figma user id so you don't have to type anything. Signing in carries over whatever is left of the same 150; it is one trial, not a second one.

— 02 Which models power each tier? +

Each tier routes to the best model available at that price point, drawn from the leading model providers. The choice is opaque to you on purpose. Designers care about the craftsman, not the version string. We refine the routing weekly so the output keeps improving without you doing anything.

— 03 How are payments processed? +

All payments are processed through a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. We accept UPI, credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express, Diners), net banking, and supported wallets. Full card numbers, CVV, expiry, OTP, UPI PIN, and net-banking credentials are entered on the gateway's hosted page and never reach our servers. We receive only a network token and the last four digits for display.

— 04 Do subscriptions auto-renew? +

Yes. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period under the Reserve Bank of India's framework for e-mandates on recurring online transactions. The first payment is authenticated with an Additional Factor of Authentication (OTP, UPI PIN, or 3-D Secure as applicable), and you receive a pre-debit notification by email at least 24 hours before each renewal charge. You can cancel the mandate or the subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription.

— 05 Do you accept international cards? +

Yes. International cards on the Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners networks are accepted, subject to the issuing bank's controls and any foreign-exchange charges levied by it. Charges always settle in INR; the conversion to your home currency is done by your card network and shown on your statement. The Service is not made available in jurisdictions where its use is prohibited by sanctions or export-control law.

— 06 How are taxes handled? +

All prices on this site are in INR and are inclusive of any applicable Indian taxes. An invoice is generated for every transaction and emailed to the address on file. You can also download invoices any time from Settings → Billing → Invoices in the plugin. If you need an invoice in a particular format for a corporate buyer, write to billing@mistri.ai and we will accommodate.

— 07 Can I cancel my subscription? +

Anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No fees, no questions. Cancellation also revokes the recurring-payment mandate, so no further charges are made. See our Refunds and Cancellation Policy for the full terms.

— 08 Do my prompts train your models? +

No. Prompts and generation outputs are not used for model training. They pass through our backend transiently to the model. We keep the resulting design against your generation record so history works. That is it.

— 09 Where is my data stored? +

User profiles, sessions, and generations are stored on encrypted infrastructure in a region close to our users. We can purge your data on request. See our Privacy Policy.
